Jimena Navarrete Rosete, the 22 year old Mexican lady has been selected as the Miss Universe of 2010. She was crowned by Stefania Fernandez in the Miss Universe contest on 23 August 2010 in Las Vegas.After winning the Miss Universe 2010 title she said that: “I want the whole world to know about my country and my people.” By achieving this title, Navarrete won a package of prizes including an undisclosed salary, a luxury New York apartment with living expenses, a one-year scholarship to the New York Film Academy with housing after her reign, plus jewelry, clothes and shoes fit for a beauty champion.
